Children's Privacy Notice

Athlete Barn is used by athletes under 13. This notice is directed to their parents and guardians. Before a child under 13 can have an active profile, a parent or legal guardian must create and own the account and provide consent. This page explains what that means so you can make an informed choice.

To build and run the athlete’s profile, we collect:

• Name, date of birth, school, and ZIP.
• Athletic details (position, measurables) and a headshot the guardian uploads.
• Film links, coach notes, and messages exchanged with coaches.
• The guardian’s contact email as the account holder.

We ask only for what’s needed to provide the service and do not require a child to disclose more than is reasonably necessary to participate.

The information builds the athlete’s profile and makes it visible to coaches and college recruiters on the platform, powers the monthly coach rotation and messaging, and runs account and billing features. We do not sell children’s personal information.

A parent or guardian creates the account, provides the athlete’s information, and consents before the profile activates. Because the guardian owns the account, they can see and control what the child shares at any time.

You can, at any time:

• Review the personal information collected from your child.
• Ask us to correct or delete it.
• Refuse further collection or use of your child’s information.
• Withdraw consent — which deactivates the account.

Permanent deletion is handled by our support team (not a one-click wipe). After we verify you are the guardian or account owner, we complete deletion or irreversible anonymization of personal profile data within 14 calendar days.
